An installation about the imagined and actual stories of an abandoned building in Brooklyn,NY. It is also about the art of observation and finding little treasures in everyday life. This is an in-school residency at Juan Morel Campos Secondary School with BRIC Contemporary Art Education, a program of BRIC Arts | Media | Bklyn.
Seeing these come together was very satisfying. Though all are unique and represent the individual outlook of the students, the common materials and their shared understanding of the building and what it could represent make the pieces gel as a single piece in a great way. I love the "tower of Babel" quality of this stack!
